Tempo. Color.
That's TemPolor.
TemPolor = Tempo + Color. Because music isn't just something you hear — it's something you feel in your bones and see in living color. That's also why our guitar strings glow. We take the "color" part literally.
Our first instrument is Melo-D — melody, key of D. Every journey starts with a first note. Ours just happens to light up. And yes — Melo-E, F, and G are already keeping us up at night.
"Music is supposed to feel good. So why did learning it feel so bad?"— Jason Jia, Founder
Our founder grew up taking music lessons. What he remembers isn't the music — it's the frustration. Drilling scales, getting his hand position corrected, practicing for exams he didn't care about. He quit. But one thing never left him: music is supposed to feel good. So why did learning it feel so bad?
In 2019, he finally did something about it — an app with no theory, just follow the colors and play. Ten million people picked it up. Then a parent wrote: their autistic child spoke for the first time after using it. Take away the barriers, and music finds its way to people you'd never expect.
But he couldn't stop there. The team spent years building a proprietary AI music model from scratch, then Tunee — a conversational AI music agent that works like talking to a producer who gets your vision. No prompts, no theory. Just tell it what you're feeling.
And still something was missing. Music isn't a screen. It's physical. Fingers on strings, sound through your body. So we took six years of everything and put it inside a real guitar. That's Melo-D. If you can imagine it — you can play it.
One obsession.
Many disciplines.

Founder & CEO
Started with one question: why does learning music feel so bad? Spent two decades building the answer. Grew a music app to 10M+ monthly users before founding TemPolor.
Blank Gong
Head of AI
Leads the AI music model and Tunee agent. Research presented at leading AI conferences worldwide. The models powering Melo-D have reached 46M users and generated 12M+ songs created.
Li Tian
Hardware Lead
Tasked with building something no one had built before — and bringing it from concept to physical reality. The foldable body, touchscreen, LED neck, and supply chain behind it all — original from the ground up. Seven design awards say they nailed it.
Music & AI Team
Audio Intelligence
TikTok AI engineers, indie musicians, and music producers who crossed into neural networks. From NYU, USC, UAL, HKU, HKUST — one shared question: what happens when AI meets music?
Seven awards.
